Still gorgeous, and compared to the DB7 amazing and light-years ahead. But you can still see the evolution in the lines, too.

It actually goes back even further. Here's one from 2002:

1996. I've been saying it for a while, but Aston Martin is the laziest design studio in the world. They build one nice looking car and call it 10 cars for 15 years. Impressive, really, but they make Porsche look like the most creative stylists in the world.

I really love that generation of Aston Martin. Sure they all look the same, but they all scream Britishness from miles away, and that's some thing the new Vanquish can't do, it's too vulgar.
Oh, and I thought about you this morning, drove right by a first gen Ford Ranger, but as I'm in France it was the international one. Same kind of colours as yours though.

Hey, when it works, it works. Don't fix what isn't broken, and man oh man, Aston's design language is most certainly NOT broken.

Hey, at least that's the best-looking generation of Accord Coupe, ever.

"Thats difficult to wrap my head around"
Why? Porshes design is way older. But I still find Aston Martins a mature look that is still distinct. Thats the part some carmakers have trouble with.

YOU TAKE THAT BACK.

No.

Nope. That is trendy and thus fleeting. It's also not stock. The rear on 2003 Accords is also garbage.
The 2002 coupe is clean and timeless with perfect proportions for a car of its class.
